Many
of you may already be well-acquainted with Osmun Brass,
the high quality repair shop founded in 1976 by Bob Osmun. As you
know, Osmun's has earned both national and international acclaim
for creativity and fine craftsmanship. We also can supply a
full
line of musical
instruments which, with the capability of our repair shop, we can
modify to fit the specific and individual needs of our customers.
Our wide range of
accessories,
from tuners to gig bags to music stands, has often completed the
outfit for thousands of satisfied customers.
Our new
location in Arlington has so
affected the way we do business that we decided to change our
name. This new space is five times larger than our Belmont
location and has transformed the ways in which we can serve our
customers. Please visit our new location (with plenty of free
parking).
The
greatly expanded repair shop has allowed us to increase
our repair staff - we can offer a broader range of services with
an even faster turnaround time. We have also
significantly enhanced our checkup
and chemical
cleaning procedures, so that
any questions you have regarding your instrument can be addressed
on the spot.
Acoustic
tryout rooms allow you to visit us at any time and have a
private space in which to play new or used instruments, experiment
with mouthpieces, or see if that repair is exactly what you had in
mind.
Our
large upstairs recital room, complete with grand piano,
is an ideal space for recitals as well as for the many workshops
and lecture/demos we feature. At least once per month, we have
held instrument workshops (for example, repair and maintenance,
and rotary valves) or master classes by world-class
musicians.
Our
enhanced display room allows you to see our selection of new
and used instruments. Our goal is to provide an ideal selection for a wide
range of players, from the first instrument, to step-up
instruments, to a extensive selection of professional
instruments.
