The Callichio Incident Every once and a while, our expert repair staff gets called on to do emergency work. Accidents happen, it's a part of life. One of Boston's premier lead trumpet players (we will not reveal his real name, so lets call him "Scott") had one such accident. Scott had accidentally backed over his copper-belled Callichio with his jeep on the way to a gig. He came straight to us the next morning and said "Please, just fix my horn...I don't care what it takes." Our lead technician, Jim Becker, worked on the horn exclusively for a couple of weeks. As you can see in these before & after photos, we were able to bring Scott's horn back from the grips of Trumpet Heaven. (click on each image for a closer look!)
